911 professionals and other emergency officials from across the state are visiting the Missouri State Capitol today to raise awareness of the state of 911 services in Missouri. The Missouri 911 Directors Association, MoAPCO, and MoNENA organized the event taking place at the Capitol in Jefferson City today from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. with the goal of discussing wireless 911 funding and what is needed for Missouri’s 911 industry.

Audrain County E-911 Director Chris Hardin will be among those representing Missouri’s 911 industry at the Capitol. Director Hardin has scheduled meetings with Representative Paul Quinn (9th District) and Senator Brian Munzlinger (18th District) to discuss 911 in Audrain County.

Questions regarding this event can be directed to Director Hardin (chardin@audrain911.org) or Assistant Director Dan Barnett (dbarnett@audrain911.org).
